RAC visits the Mile High City to perform their their new album ‘EGO.’
RAC is a five piece band that specializes in remixes as well as original pieces. They have had music featured in ads for Citigroup and Hulu. The band switched up every role while performing. They made a stop in Denver at the Bluebird Theatre on Sunday September 24th.
Next, there was never one person just in one spot except for (André Allen Anjos) on the guitar, and on the drums. The singers would move over to the keyboard, and then the guitar. (Liz Anjos) in the group sang a few songs and then played the keyboards. Even the bassist, (Karl Kling) would sing who, had a surprising falsetto range after they were encored and played a stripped down version of “Heavy.”
RAC has a very Pop synth, remix, light tone vibe while listening to the recording. However, when they perform they sound so much more like a live band. The crowd sang along to their favorites like “Cheap Sunglasses,” “Unusual,” and of course the grammy winning remix of Odesza’s “Say My Name.”
To conclude, RAC has released a full length album this year called ‘EGO.’ It features all of their own original work with pop synths, instrumentals, and various different vocals from the band. The album is available on all platforms. Its light, feel good music that you can sing along to and get really excited about sharing it with your buddies.
Lastly, don’t forget you can check out their most popular remixes of artists like Lana Del Rey, Death Cab For Cutie, Bob Marley, U2, Lady GaGa, Odesza, Linkin Park, Foster The People and even more here!
