Indie Radio Sessions 00:1

Welcome to Indie Radio Sessions! Avicii, the artist we start with is a Swedish DJ, he travels globally on tours and his music is popular internationally. Lee DeWize was featured in the walking dead, and this song, in particular, became popular because it was featured in the walking dead. Susie Suh is a Korean-American alternative indie singer, she has a very mellow indie tone. Two Feet actually just played in Denver; they are more of an underground band, not super popular, but their music falls on the alternative electronic lines. You can check out their Facebook page for live videos and more info. They sound great “live” at least from what I’ve seen from Facebook videos. Linkin Park on here because as we know we recently lost an amazingly talented person Chester Bennington. Max Frost is a one-man band; he can literally do it all. He started playing shows at the age of 12, and look at where he is now. He is considered to be a music “protégé.” Cold War Kids just played at Red Rocks on August 15th, they have been making music for 14 years, but it has only been recently that their music has taken off. LP has written music for various artists but has just recently become popular for her own music, one of her songs were featured in one of the previous seasons of Orange is the new black. And last but not least, my favorite Glass Animals, an indie band that I just recently saw at Red Rocks, but the show was flooded out. They are an English band, and have recently taken off in the last couple of years; they have been playing since 2010.
