Trapped in the Screening Room – IT by Stephen King

Welcome to the first episode of the movie discussion podcast, Trapped in the screening room. A new series that looks at all things cinema, from good, bad, ugly, new, old, and from the Arthouse to the Grindhouse. On this episode, Tyler flies solo and talks about the new Stephen King movie, that puts IT in hit. IT is the new adaptation of the famous novel by Stephen King. Directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay by Chase Palmer and Cary Fukunaga. The film also stars Bill Skarsgard, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Sophia Lillis. Listen in to see if this new version is deserving the hype, the film’s connection to Netflix’s Stranger Things (also starring Finn Wolfhard), and Hollywood’s new trend of Horror films.
