The Film Crew Podcast: Stephen King’s It

This week, The Film Crew gets spooky. Stephen King’s It was released September 8th, 2017 and is directed by Andy Muschietti. Stephen King’s It (It for short) follows the story of seven children in the small town of Derry, Maine. This “Losers Club” gets terrorized by the ancient and evil clown Pennywise. The kids have to face their fears and look into the dead light. The film is set in the summer of 1989 and boy, the 80’s nostalgia is strong with this one. If you’re going through Stranger Things withdrawals, you should definitely check It out. Not to mention, Finn Wolfhard plays Richie. His fellow cast members are Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Sophia Lillis. If you’d like to hear our thoughts on the movie, with minimal spoilers, and how the film compares to the 1990 miniseries and the book, check out our review of Stephen King’s It. The speakers in this episode are Drew Knapp, Chism Mattson, and special guest Eric Harness.
